Vicki Szillage Music Studio – Studio Policies

Lesson Format
Weekly private lessons are available in the following formats, depending on the student’s age and level:

• 30-minute lesson – $40

• 45-minute lesson – $60

• 60-minute lesson – $80

At the Studio
Students should arrive on time and be prepared with all required music and materials.
Parents and siblings may wait quietly in the designated waiting area, remain in their vehicle, or run short errands—provided they return promptly for pickup.

Tuition & Payment

• Tuition is paid in equal monthly installments, due on or before the first week of each month.

• Payments can be made via cash or check.

• Late payments are subject to a $10 late fee.

• The teacher reserves the right to adjust tuition rates at the start of each academic year.

Missed Lessons & Makeups

• Missed lessons are non-refundable.

• Students are responsible for payment of missed lessons.

• To avoid being charged, students may schedule one makeup lesson within 30 days of the missed session.

Discontinuing Lessons

• One month’s notice is requested before discontinuing lessons, allowing for proper closure.

• Students may stop lessons at any time; however, the teacher reserves the right to dismiss a student for:

  • Repeated unpaid tuition

  • Frequent absences or lack of preparation

  • Demonstrated lack of interest or commitment

Parent Participation
Parents are encouraged to:

• Support their child’s at-home practice

• Attend and quietly observe lessons at least once a month
